Ozon expands door-to-door delivery option to whole country
MOSCOW, Sep 10 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet store Ozon has launched the door-to-door delivery option across the whole country, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Tuesday.
Ozon pioneered the option in the country in late July in Moscow.
The service works for pre-paid orders with the value of up to 30,000 rubles with no fresh food or health products. An Ozon courier leaves the parcel in a hallway of a house or with a concierge on the client’s request.
The spokesperson said the service quickly exceeded 500 orders per day. The average bill with the option was at 3,200 rubles, by 15% more than the company’s average bill.
